Our Supported Employment Program enables individuals living with disabilities who need additional support to secure and maintain integrated community-based employment.
Supported employment focuses on the person’s abilities and provides supports needed for long-term success.
We provide training to employers and co-workers who may have never worked alongside a person with a disability, on-site job coaching and on-going work environment assessments to determine if job modifications would improve the employee’s productivity.
Supported Employment helps individuals become employed in their communities by using services such as:
Interview Skills Training
Job Development
Task Analysis
Development of Natural Supports
Job Coaching
Regular Follow-Ups with Employers to Promote Employment Stability
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) funds Supported Employment in a variety of business environments for anyone requiring intensive employment supports. Supported Employment offers continuing assistance from our Employment Specialists skilled in maintaining long-term employment for individuals who have previously been unable to succeed in traditional employment.
